1. Georges

13/31 Gayton Road, City Beach

Run by locals and adored by locals, it wouldn’t be a list of places to check out in City Beach without mentioning Georges! Located at Empire Village, head to Georges for a coffee on the go or stop by for a bite to eat. Did we mention the cinnamon scrolls? You’ll have to get in early though as they’re known to sell out!

Sitting on the beachfront, Odyssea serves up modern Australian cuisine in an even more impressive setting. Nothing screams summer like a day spent at the beach followed by cocktails while you take in the sunset. Open daily from 7am to late, you’ll be well looked after any time of the day whether it’s an early morning breakfast, romantic dinner or anything in between.

5. The Beach

With pristine waters and white sand, it’s no wonder why City Beach has been named one of the best beaches in the state. With large grassed areas and a playground for the kids, it’s the perfect spot to head to weather you’re going for a dip or just spending time with the family.
