Side Piece Deli, Swanbourne

If you haven’t heard about Side Piece yet, we have to inform you that you may be living under a rock! This cute-as-a-button yellow shop front has become Swanbourne’s latest go-to, pouring great coffee and serving breakfast favourites, sandwiches and pastries. Tigerfish, Cottesloe

Just in time for summer, Tigerfish has officially swung open its doors. Part of the Cottesloe Beach Hotel, it brings modern South-East Asian flavours to one of Perth’s most iconic coastlines. Bert’s, City Beach

Goodbye Odyssea, hello Bert’s. This new coastal dining spot pays homage to the original City Beach Tea Rooms run by Bert himself - a nostalgic nod wrapped in a fresh, timeless fit-out. Interior lovers, this one’s for you! MCM House has finally opened in Perth, bringing its signature understated luxury to Claremont. Pearla & Co, North Fremantle

Former Bib & Tucker talent Scott Bridger is back by the beach, this time taking over the old Al Lupo site right by Leighton Beach. Pearla & Co is set to bring a fresh coastal menu inspired by the Australian shoreline, and with Scott at the helm, expectations are understandably high. Yoka Cafe, Floreat

Fluffy soufflé pancakes, silky matcha and a rotating menu that keeps things interesting - Yoka’s arrival on Cambridge Street has been a welcome one. Open from 7am to 9pm most days, it’s the kind of place you can pop into for a morning treat or a late-night sweet fix. Check them out here
